As well as selling your own books, money can be made online by selling other people’s products as an affiliate.
Affiliates are those people who sell other people’s products for a commission. So you can use affiliates to sell your books, or sell products from your web site as an affiliate – or both.
Making money as an affiliate is quick and easy. The quickest and easiest way is to find quality products to sell from affiliate networks such as ClickBank.com or Commission Junction.
The ClickBank.com market place only sells instantly downloadable products such as eBooks and software. To become an affiliate, just sign up as an affiliate (it’s free), select the products you want to sell then copy and paste the links into your web site.
Likewise, Commission Junction is also free to join and sells instantly downloadable products and also physical products that have to be shipped. But as an affiliate, all you need to do is to make a sale and everything is taken care of for you and your commission payments are added to your accounts. Some of the payments can be as high as 75% of the product price.
Amazon Associates is another affiliate program that is free to join. Although Amazon is not very high-paying for affiliates, you can create a whole books tore selling thousands of books in different categories, or any of the other products that Amazon sells.

If you want to find more affiliate programs to join just go to Google and type in the subject you’re interested in plus the word “affiliates” or “affiliate”. The Google search should return several affiliate programs you might be interested in. For instance, if you have a web site about gardening, just type in the words “gardening” and “affiliate” (without the quotes) into the Google search box.
To help improve sales from your affiliate programs you can write articles that include a resource box at the bottom with a link back to your web page with the affiliate link. Then submit the article to several article directories. If your article is well-written and provides useful information, readers will be tempted to click on your link and visit your web site.
To further help sales, you can purchase the products yourself and write a review on them or offer a free review to the person selling the product in exchange for a free sample of the product or a free copy of the eBook.
Just show your readers and web site visitors that they can trust you by only promoting and selling products you believe in and make sure your own products are great value for money.
