This website was completely overhauled and updated in 2011.

All the old information was removed from the site and replaced with new information that is relevant for today's authors wanting to know how to self publish their own books.

For years the publishing methods available to authors was unchanging with the onlyl two opitons being trying to find a publishing company or try to self publish.j

The problems with these two options were that there were not enough publishing companies and self publishing was far too expensive for most authors.

But then things began to change when the option of self publishing an ebook on the internet came along. But it was still very limited because some readers didn't want to pay for books they hd to print themselves.

Then Print on Demand publishing was offered to authors which meant that self publishing no longer meant having hundreds of books printed at once and storing them at home. Now authors were free to write and publish their own books and only have them printed as they were ordered.

Then eReaders such as the Amazon Kindle began to emerge and this changed the face of publishing and book-buying forever.

Now authors are completely free of all the hassle of printing books and instead can upload them to the internet for free where customers can buy a digital copy and download it straight to their ebook reader.

And this is what this website is all about. Self Publishing. Whether it's about publishing print books, PDF books, ebooks ibooks or any other kind of books.

If you want to become an author and write and publsih all your own books, then you're in the write [sic] place.
